Today, there are more laptops being sold on a daily basis. In 2008 for example, and estimated 311 million laptops were shipped. On an average, a minimum of 100 desktop computers are sold each day. Laptops have reached a torrid growth over the years, and it is expected to increase further in the coming years. More laptops are purchased by consumers because of their compact size and portability. However, they don’t have enough cooling systems like the cooling systems found in desktop computers which makes them unable to withstand heat for long periods of time.  Fortunately, there are ways to address this problem through the use of laptop cooling pads or devices.

Laptop grips or feet. These are either made of rubber or plastic. The grips are made of pads, while the feet look like standees that will assist you in elevating the laptop a little bit off the surface of your desk. With this method, greater airflow is taking place beneath the computer and that prevents the laptop from overheating. Laptop desks  are those that look like trays trays that you may carry wherever you are. The way they are designed is such that the laptop desk can be inserted in between your laptop and desk or lap. Laptops desks are usually made of rubber or plastic. They are of varying sizes and thickness. What’s good about them is they are portable, so easy to carry, and just fine to be put inside a bag along with the laptop. Laptop stands are designed to position your laptop higher at an angle. With this position the stand helps keep the laptops away from  warm spots because  it makes enough space for the appropriate flowing of air under the laptop. Laptop stands may be a little bulky, which makes it a not ideal for laptop cooling when you are looking for a portable device.
